KY Jones is better known on the music scene under a different name, but enjoys the anonymity of playing solo covers gigs under this pseudonym, outside of his main musical career. In dog friendly establishments, he’ll often be seen performing alongside his sidekick “Genghis”, a music loving one eyed Shih Tzu!

 

He’s been a name on the international blues circuit since the early 90’s, having originally beat fellow nominees Eric Clapton & Gary Moore to “best guitarist” in the British Blues Awards upon the release of his debut album. Since then, he’s won countless awards, written for a host of artists across the music industry in a variety of genres, headlined blues festivals and tours around the world, and worked with an eclectic host of luminaries such as Van Morrison, BB King, Joe Cocker, George Michael, Ike Turner, Mel C, Leo Sayer, Suggs, and Robbie Williams.
